Theme: SG60
In celebration of Singapore's 60th Birthday, we invite all artists aged 4 and above to take part in the Singapore 60th Birthday Art Contest. Whether through painting, digital art, mixed media, or sketching, artists can express their vision of Singapore's transformation from a young nation to a global city. Join us in telling the story of Singapore through your art — and help shape the image of our shared future.

Categories
Group A: Pre-schooler | 4 to 6 years olds
Group B: Primary 1 - 3 | 7 to 9 years olds
Group C: Primary 4 -6 | 10 to 12 years olds
Group D: Teenagers | 13 to 19 years olds
Group E: Adults | 20 and above
Group F: Professionals | Artists and Art College Students
Artwork Requirements

Artworks that the contestants produce must be of A3 Size
-
Participants may use any art mediums - pencil, coloured pencil, graphite, charcoal, pen, markers, acrylic paint, oil paint, watercolour paint, poster paint, Chinese ink, Digital Art, etc.

Participants may combine and use multiple mediums.

The artwork should be created on a piece of paper/watercolour paper, rice paper.

The artwork should be an original work produced by the participant for this art competition. The artwork should be produced from May 2025.

The contestants may freely express their artistic creativity in response to the art competition. The created artwork should adhere to the theme of the art competition, and submissions that are inappropriate to the theme will not be considered.

The artwork should be an original work and not a copy from an existing photograph or artwork. Hence, a participant may forfeit if the artwork is found to be a direct reproduction of an existing photograph or artwork.

*Each participant will receive a digital participation certificate.
*All participating organisations will be presented with a certificate.
*All gold, silver, and bronze award winners will receive a certificate of award and a medal.
*All other award winners will receive a certificate of award and a Medal.
ENTRY DETAILS

To register for this art contest, the contestants are required to fill in their information in this Registration Form and make a payment to the organiser. Applicants will receive their confirmation email within a week of successful registration and payment

To submit the artwork entry for this art competition, the participant is required to fill in Artwork Submission Form online and upload only one image of the artwork (the image file should be saved as Last Name, First Name, Middle Name (optional), English Name (optional), Title of Artwork). For example, the artwork image should be saved as “Tan Li Li, Cindy - My Singapore Life”.

There will be NO review of results. The organiser and judging panel’s decision is final. However, AAS as an organiser has the absolute right to disqualify the winners anytime in terms of providing false information, authenticity of artwork submission, defying the authority of the organiser, and contempt and integrity of the organiser, etc.
By submitting information to the Arts Association of Singapore (AAS), you agree and consent to the AAS collecting, using, disclosing, and sharing of personal data for engagement, operational planning, and communications with the AAS. We will collect, use, and disclose your personal data in accordance with the PDPA Act 2012.
